We aim to help children learn about brass instruments, whilst also covering essential elements of the national curriculum and basic music skills, all combined with the excitement of live performance.

The workshops address subjects such as; pitch, dynamics, the instruments, how they work, graphic notation and expressions, through well known songs and original brass music. We encourage pupil participation with percussion, singing, conducting and composing.

We aim to give the children a fun, exciting and memorable introduction to music in a way that cannot normally be delivered in a classroom. The workshops also give the class teacher ideas and resources they can use and develop further in their future lessons.

We offer single workshops, or a set of two in which the second develops from the first and allows for class activities between sessions
